Osaic, one of the nation’s largest providers of wealth management strategies, announced that Bard Financial Services, Inc., a Connecticut-based advisory firm overseeing approximately $1.2 billion in assets under management, has transitioned to Osaic’s Empowered Independence W-2 channel.

Bard Financial, headquartered in Branford, Connecticut, has partnered with Osaic since 1986. The move to the Empowered Independence model aligns the firm’s long-term growth strategy with a structure that supports succession planning and operational scale. The team is led by Financial Advisor Kenneth Spitzbard, a 40-year industry veteran who has appeared on multiple Best Advisors lists, including twice on the Financial Times FT 400. He is joined by Financial Advisor Jeffrey Welsh, with 33 years of experience; Managing Director Julie Cross Hoko; Wealth Advisor Mickey Goldberg; and Senior Operations Professional Jackie Weston.

Under the new structure, Bard Financial will continue leveraging Osaic’s brokerage and advisory platform while operating under Osaic’s corporate RIA. The model offers centralized infrastructure, compliance oversight, and technology resources, allowing the team to focus on client engagement and long-term business development.

Bard Financial serves clients nationwide, providing comprehensive wealth management and retirement plan services, including 401(k) consulting. The transition reflects continued momentum among established advisory firms seeking enhanced succession alignment and operational efficiency within Osaic’s W-2 framework.

Osaic’s Empowered Independence channel is built for entrepreneurial advisors seeking greater operational leverage while maintaining client-facing autonomy. By centralizing many of the administrative and compliance responsibilities associated with running an independent RIA, the model enables advisors to prioritize client outcomes, talent development, and sustainable growth.
