Osaic announced that financial advisor Michael “Mike” Biggs has joined the firm from Equitable Advisors with approximately $245 million in client assets. Biggs is based in Clarksville, Tennessee, and is joined by Executive Assistant Sandra Ford.
He has worked in financial services since 1986 and has built a practice centered on personalized financial guidance and long-term client relationships.
Biggs holds the CLU, ChFC, and MBA designations.
After four decades in the industry, he selected Osaic as a platform that could provide greater independence while also giving him access to technology, planning resources, and operational support.
Through the affiliation, Biggs will be able to use Osaic’s infrastructure to support client service, improve practice efficiency, and position the business for continued growth.
The move reflects Biggs’ interest in maintaining a high degree of control over how he serves clients while gaining access to a broader set of resources.
Osaic said its platform is designed to support advisors who want to operate independently while still benefiting from centralized technology, planning capabilities, and business support.
Biggs joins a growing number of advisory practices that have recently affiliated with Osaic.
Other firms cited by Osaic include Midwest Financial Group, IronGate Services, and O’Reilly LLC.
Osaic supports more than 10,000 financial professionals nationwide.
The firm is a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners and provides wealth management infrastructure and services through multiple affiliated broker-dealers and registered investment advisers.
