Osaic has appointed Sayee Bellamkonda as Chief AI & Technology Officer, bringing in a veteran technology executive to lead the wealth management firm’s advisor- and client-facing technology, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity strategies. Bellamkonda will join Osaic’s executive committee and report directly to CEO Jamie Price.
The appointment represents a significant investment in Osaic’s technology organization as the firm advances its short- and long-term digital and AI roadmap.
Bellamkonda will focus on strengthening Osaic’s technology, data and AI infrastructure with the goal of improving advisor and employee productivity, supporting stronger client outcomes and creating additional scalability across the enterprise.
He will also work across Osaic’s broader organization to integrate technology initiatives already underway and help develop new capabilities for financial professionals using the firm’s platform.
The role combines responsibility for several increasingly interconnected areas, including enterprise technology, AI, data and cybersecurity.
Osaic sees those capabilities as an important part of its broader strategy to build a more integrated platform for financial advisors.
Bellamkonda brings experience leading large-scale technology organizations across financial services, real estate and professional services.
Before joining Osaic, he held senior executive positions at Vialto Partners, CBRE, Ameriprise Financial and American Express.
Most recently, Bellamkonda served as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Vialto Partners.
At Vialto, he helped build the company’s global technology organization following its separation from PwC.
His career has included responsibility for global technology teams spanning digital products, enterprise data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud transformation and innovation.
That experience gives Osaic a technology leader who has worked across both financial services and other complex global organizations while managing large-scale modernization initiatives.
Bellamkonda also brings an academic background focused on AI and technology.
He holds a Global Doctor of Business Administration in AI and Data Science from Rennes School of Business in France, an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and technology and engineering degrees from Delhi University and Nagarjuna University.
For Osaic, the appointment comes as wealth management firms increasingly incorporate AI into advisor workflows, client servicing, data analysis, operational processes and enterprise technology infrastructure.
The company plans to use Bellamkonda’s experience to further integrate those capabilities while maintaining a focus on responsible deployment and cybersecurity.
