Osaic announced IDT Capital Group, an independent wealth management firm based in Melville, New York, has joined the firm through New York Financial Partners, an Osaic office of supervisory jurisdiction. Led by financial advisor David Calderon, the firm is transitioning from LPL Financial and oversees approximately $186 million in client assets.
Osaic said Calderon selected the platform after more than a year of due diligence evaluating potential partners, citing expanded technology capabilities, enhanced trading access, and alignment with his long-term vision for client service. The company said a key factor was identifying an OSJ partner positioned to support a seamless, efficient transition and enable future growth.
Osaic said that through its platform and operational support from OSJ Howard Asch and the New York Financial Partners team, IDT Capital Group will gain access to tools designed to improve productivity, scalability and flexibility, with the goal of deepening client relationships while positioning the business for sustained growth.
Osaic framed the move as part of continued momentum in attracting independent advisors seeking greater autonomy paired with infrastructure, technology and community support.
