OSS Ventures, an industrial venture studio focused on building and scaling vertical software companies, announced the first close of its new €75 million fund dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of manufacturing and industrial businesses across Europe and the United States.
According to the official announcement, the fund has secured initial commitments of €40 million and is targeting a total of €75 million. The capital will be used to provide follow-on financing to industrial software startups incubated within the OSS Ventures studio model, supporting their expansion into international markets and enabling them to scale operations more rapidly.
OSS Ventures is known for its factory-embedded approach, partnering directly with industrial companies to identify operational pain points and co-build software solutions tailored to specific manufacturing and supply chain challenges. The venture studio then spins these solutions out as independent software companies, backing them with operational expertise, product development support, and capital.
The new fund is designed to strengthen this model by ensuring that promising portfolio companies have access to growth capital as they expand beyond initial deployments and enter new geographies. In particular, OSS Ventures intends to accelerate the development of European industrial software champions while also increasing its presence in the United States market.
The announcement highlights the firm’s ambition to create a portfolio of category-leading industrial software businesses rooted in real-world industrial use cases. By combining deep industry immersion with venture financing, OSS Ventures aims to bridge the gap between traditional manufacturing environments and modern software-driven innovation.
With the first close completed, OSS Ventures plans to continue fundraising toward the €75 million target while actively deploying capital into existing and newly launched ventures within its portfolio, reinforcing its long term strategy of building and scaling software solutions purpose built for the industrial sector.
