Outpost24 has acquired Infinipoint, marking a significant move into the rapidly growing Zero Trust Workforce Access market and strengthening its identity security business. The deal brings together Outpost24’s exposure management and authentication capabilities with Infinipoint’s expertise in device identity, posture validation, and secure workforce access.
The acquisition deepens Specops, Outpost24’s identity security division’s capabilities by unifying authentication with real-time device trust evaluation. As organizations increasingly adopt Zero Trust strategies, traditional authentication methods such as MFA and SSO are no longer sufficient on their own. Companies now face mounting risk from unmanaged or non-compliant devices used by employees, contractors, and partners. The integration of Infinipoint’s device posture checks provides safeguards to ensure that only secure endpoints gain access to sensitive systems.
By combining Specops’ authentication platform with Infinipoint’s device trust engine, customers gain a more complete view of both user and device at the moment of access. This unified model reduces the risk of credential misuse, protects against lateral movement, and supports compliance initiatives. The addition of Infinipoint’s self-service and automatic remediation features also aims to improve operational efficiency by enabling users to fix device issues directly at login without disrupting productivity.
Outpost24 stated that this acquisition is intended to create a comprehensive access management framework that simultaneously validates identity and device health, supporting organizations in scaling Zero Trust principles globally. Leadership teams from Outpost24, Specops, and Infinipoint emphasized that the combined technologies establish a stronger baseline for secure workforce access and address longstanding vulnerabilities that have challenged enterprises.
The move also reinforces Outpost24’s commitment to enhancing visibility and control across identities, devices, and external attack surfaces. With increased global operations and a broad customer base, the company expects the acquisition to accelerate adoption of its end-to-end exposure management and identity security solutions.
