VitVio: $8 Million Seed Funding Closed To Transform Operating Room Efficiency With AI-Based Ambient Sensing

VitVio, a Boston-based medical technology company using AI, computer vision, and ambient sensing to improve operating room efficiency, has raised $8 million in an oversubscribed seed round. The funding was led by Bek Ventures (formerly Earlybird Digital East), with participation from existing backers LDV Capital and Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, and new investors Balnord, Thornapple River Capital, healthcare leader Joe Mullings, and Mati Staniszewski, founder of ElevenLabs. This funding round brings VitVio’s total funding to $10 million and will support the company’s expansion across major U.S. hospitals.
