Palabra.ai, a real-time AI voice translation company backed by Seven Seven Six, announced that it has surpassed $1 million in annual recurring revenue after growing 17x over the past six months. The company said its ARR increased from approximately $60,000 in October 2025 to $1 million by April 2026.
The London-based company said its platform now powers thousands of meetings, webinars, livestreams, and broadcasts every month across more than 60 languages and over 1,000 language pairs.
Palabra.ai’s technology listens to a speaker, translates speech into another language, and plays back the translated version in the listener’s preferred language, typically in under one second. The company noted that its platform preserves the speaker’s original voice using AI voice cloning technology that requires as little as six seconds of audio input.
According to the company, it developed its own speech recognition, machine translation, and text-to-speech models internally. Palabra.ai also stated that its speech recognition system achieves an average word error rate of 2.4% across eight benchmark languages, which it claims is 31% lower than its nearest competitor.
The company also offers a developer platform through a streaming API that supports speech recognition, translation, and voice synthesis over WebSocket and WebRTC. SDKs are available in Python, JavaScript, and Java.
Palabra.ai said its platform is GDPR-compliant, ISO 27001-certified, and processes audio entirely in memory without storing recordings or using customer audio to train models.
The company said customers include DHL, UNICEF, Hyundai, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Fujitsu, DocuSign, eToro, and Agora.
Customers use the platform for meeting translation inside Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, along with multilingual webinar interpretation, livestream translation, and in-person event interpretation through QR-code-based mobile access.
Palabra.ai said its service costs approximately 9.3 times less than hiring human interpreters. The company added that organizations are using the platform for international sales calls, multilingual company meetings, university lectures, live broadcasts, and industry-specific conversations supported by custom glossaries for terminology accuracy.
