Palantir And Nebius Partner To Deliver Sovereign AI Stack To Commercial Customers

Palantir Technologies and Nebius Group have formed a strategic partnership to bring Nebius’ AI-native compute infrastructure and cloud platform to Palantir’s commercial customers, creating a more integrated sovereign AI offering for organizations that want greater control over their compute, data, and models.

As part of the agreement, Palantir has named Nebius its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner.

Following an integration period, Palantir plans to bring Nebius compute and inference endpoints inside the Palantir enterprise perimeter, allowing eligible Palantir customers to access Nebius’s cloud and inference infrastructure through Palantir’s environment.

The companies said the arrangement is designed to give organizations greater control over the infrastructure supporting their AI workloads, including the compute resources, proprietary data and models involved.

Palantir and Nebius will also work together to accelerate deployment of additional AI compute capacity for Palantir customers.

That effort is expected to include modular data center deployments at locations where power infrastructure is already available, potentially enabling the companies to bring additional capacity online more quickly as demand grows.

The partnership combines Palantir’s software stack with Nebius’s AI infrastructure.

Palantir’s Sovereign AI Operating System is built around AIP, Ontology, Foundry and Apollo and is designed to provide authorization, isolation and operational controls allowing organizations to train and deploy models using proprietary data.

Nebius provides AI-native infrastructure spanning compute, cloud services, model training and inference.

Bringing Nebius infrastructure into the Palantir perimeter is intended to extend sovereign AI capabilities to commercial organizations that may not previously have had an integrated option for running their own models on infrastructure designed specifically for AI workloads.

Eligible Palantir customers are expected to be able to deploy open models on Nebius infrastructure and continually adapt those models using their own organizational data.

The approach is designed to allow businesses to develop AI systems tailored to specific industries, workflows and operational requirements rather than relying exclusively on general-purpose closed models.

Palantir and Nebius believe this model can give customers greater ability to retain control of the data used to train or refine models as well as the resulting models and domain-specific intelligence.

The partnership reflects growing demand among enterprises for AI systems that combine access to large-scale compute with stronger controls around data sovereignty, model ownership and infrastructure deployment.

Palantir selected Nebius in part because its infrastructure and software were developed specifically for AI workloads rather than adapted from a general-purpose cloud architecture.

Nebius’s infrastructure is designed to support demanding AI workloads across training, inference and production deployment and can be integrated directly with Palantir’s Sovereign AI Operating System.

For Palantir, the partnership expands the infrastructure layer available beneath its software platform.

For Nebius, the agreement provides access to Palantir’s commercial customer base and creates an additional channel for organizations seeking dedicated or sovereign AI infrastructure.
