Pandora Rolls Out A Mac App

By Noah Long ● May 21, 2019

Pandora has rolled out a native Mac app for all tiers of users who enjoy using the music streaming service. And a Windows version of the app will be rolled out soon.

The Pandora app for Mac supports keyboard controls for you to play, pause, replay, skip, shuffle, or thumb up/thumb down songs from your computer keyboard.

There are on-screen song notifications that graphically display the artists, albums, and song titles for the music that is currently playing.

And there are app-based controls for the new Pandora Modes feature — which allows you to customize the music you hear on Pandora stations using selectable “modes” like Crowd Faves, Deep Cuts, Newly-Released, Artist Only, etc.

Pandora Student and Military Plans are also available within the desktop app. And now qualified students can get Pandora Premium for only $4.99 per month. And qualified military including active duty, reservists, retirees, veterans, and military family can get Premium for only $7.99 per month.

Mac users can download the app now (macOS version 10.10 and above is required).
