Park Aerospace announced the election of John Jamieson to the newly created position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company.
In this role, Jamieson will continue reporting to Mark Esquivel, President and Chief Operating Officer of Park Aerospace. The appointment expands Jamieson’s leadership responsibilities at the company as Park continues to focus on operational execution and long-term growth.
Jamieson has served as Senior Vice President of Project Management at Park Aerospace since July 2024. Before rejoining Park, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Active Dynamics Group from 2018 to 2022.
Jamieson previously held the role of Vice President of Supply Chain at Park Aerospace from 2014 to 2018. Earlier in his career, he served as General Manager of Active Metals Company from 2012 to 2013 and Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Engineering at Sanmina Corporation from 2003 to 2012.
Jamieson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from James Watt College in the United Kingdom.
Park Aerospace develops and manufactures advanced composite materials for composite structures in global aerospace markets. The company’s products include film adhesives, lightning strike protection materials, specialty ablative materials for rocket motors and nozzles, and materials for radome applications.
The company also designs and fabricates composite parts, structures, assemblies, and low-volume tooling for the aerospace industry. Its target markets include prototype and development aircraft, special mission aircraft, spares for legacy military and civilian aircraft, and spacecraft applications.
