ParkMundo has raised €2.3 million in funding to scale its consumer marketplace, expand its B2B partner ecosystem, and accelerate international growth.
The financing follows a broader transformation of the company’s business, including the rebuilding of its technology infrastructure and the consolidation of nine brands under the ParkMundo name.
ParkMundo has also developed a B2B distribution platform designed to allow airlines, online travel agencies, and other travel brands to offer airport parking directly within their customers’ travel journeys.
The company plans to use the new capital to build on that foundation by connecting more travelers with airport parking options and expanding distribution opportunities across international markets.
By combining its consumer-facing marketplace with a B2B distribution model, ParkMundo is seeking to make airport parking easier to discover and book while helping travel companies add parking as an ancillary service for their customers.
The funding will also support the company’s international expansion as it looks to extend its technology and partner network into additional markets.
ParkMundo acknowledged its investors and Rabobank for supporting the company’s next stage of growth. The company also credited advisors and board members Jan-Willem van Boeckel, Mattijs ten Brink, and Jelmer de Wilde for their guidance.
The financing represents another step in ParkMundo’s strategy to build a broader airport parking technology and distribution platform that connects travelers, parking providers, airlines, online travel agencies, and other participants across the travel ecosystem.
