ParkourSC Acquires Quartic To Launch Unified AI Platform For Life Sciences Supply Chains

(See ParkourSC profile on Pulse 2.0 here)

ParkourSC has acquired Quartic, combining ParkourSC’s clinical and commercial supply chain AI capabilities with Quartic’s manufacturing AI technology to create a unified platform for regulated life sciences and healthcare.

The acquisition is designed to give pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract manufacturing organizations a continuous view of products across clinical development, manufacturing, distribution, and point of care. ParkourSC said the combined platform will connect manufacturing and supply chain data to help customers identify quality risks earlier and determine appropriate actions before problems escalate.

The platform is intended to predict which batches, lots, and shipments are at risk and recommend responses such as adjusting manufacturing processes, rerouting shipments, prioritizing inventory, or accelerating product release. It also brings deviation, verification, release, excursion, disposition, and regulatory documentation into a single environment operating within predefined compliance guardrails.

By integrating Quartic, ParkourSC said it can now address four major areas of the life sciences value chain through one platform, effectively doubling its addressable market. The system is designed to sit above customers’ existing MES, LIMS, QMS, historian, and logistics platforms rather than requiring those systems to be replaced.

The combination is also intended to improve how manufacturing evidence is used later in the product lifecycle. Information about how a batch was produced, its stability margin, and the factors influencing patient safety and efficacy can move forward into commercial manufacturing and distribution rather than being reconstructed when an issue arises.

ParkourSC said this approach could help life sciences organizations accelerate transitions from clinical manufacturing to commercial production by carrying process knowledge into scale-up and technology transfer. The company also expects connected data to support faster release and disposition decisions when quality questions or transportation excursions occur.

ParkourSC and Quartic already share customers, and the companies cited documented outcomes including reducing fit-for-use disposition decisions from three days to one minute and improving batch yields in biologics manufacturing by 15% to 20%.

Quartic will now operate as a ParkourSC company. Its technology focuses on manufacturing operations management for regulated batch production, including deviation monitoring and investigations, Continuous Process Verification, and Expedited Batch Release.

KEY QUOTES:

“In the past, life sciences companies never had a connected view of a product from its first batch to commercial distribution. This changes today through our acquisition of Quartic, where we can finally close that gap with an end-to-end intelligence platform with proven GxP foundation that will serve as the definitive standard for autonomous regulated supply chains.”

Mahesh Veerina, President And CEO Of ParkourSC

“The most important facts about a batch are established when it is made, but they are needed long after it leaves the plant. Connecting manufacturing and supply chain data puts the full history of the product in front of the people making release, disposition, and scale-up decisions and ensures the quality of the product that ultimately gets delivered to patients.”

Rajiv Anand, CEO And Co-Founder Of Quartic

“By not having one complete view of a product across the entire value chain, the life sciences industry has paid a steep price in lost product, wasted time, and delayed therapies. This is a problem I know well having spent years running complex global supply chains. With ParkourSC’s acquisition of Quartic, pharmaceutical and biotech companies can now follow a product across its entire lifecycle and act on problems before they reach the patient. This move positions ParkourSC at the forefront of the industry’s move toward AI-driven, autonomous supply chains.”
