Parloa: $350 Million Series D Raised At $3 Billion Valuation To Expand Agentic AI For Customer Experience

Parloa (see Pulse 2.0 profile here), a provider of AI agents for enterprise customer experience, said it has raised $350 million in a Series D round that values the company at $3 billion, as it accelerates its push to become a category leader in “agentic AI” for customer relationships.

The financing was led by General Catalyst and included continued participation from existing backers EQT Ventures, Altimeter Capital, Durable Capital Partners, and Mosaic Ventures. Parloa said the raise closes seven months after its Series C and brings its total capital raised to more than $560 million in less than four years.

The company, founded in Europe and operating between New York and Berlin, said the new funding will support global expansion across the U.S. and Europe, additional development of its AI Agent Management Platform (AMP), and the launch of what it calls the “Parloa Promise,” a program aimed at agent reliability, product innovation, and responsible AI practices.

Parloa positions AMP as an enterprise control plane for building and operating customer-facing AI agents, emphasizing no- or low-code workflows that use natural language to design and adapt agents across languages, contexts, and shifting customer needs. The company said its platform enables teams to simulate and evaluate conversations at scale, monitor performance, and understand agent behavior via real-time dashboards while meeting compliance and data-security requirements.

Parloa said it is used by large enterprises and partners including Allianz, Booking.com, HealthEquity, SAP, Sedgwick, Swiss Life, and TeamViewer, and described the latest round as reinforcing momentum following recent product and financial milestones.

As part of the deal, General Catalyst CEO Hemant Taneja and the firm’s President and Managing Director Jeannette zu Fürstenberg will join Parloa’s Supervisory Board. Parloa said its geographic expansion plan includes building out its U.S. headquarters in midtown Manhattan, a localized team in London, and scouting additional offices in markets such as San Francisco and Madrid.

The company framed the funding as a bet that customer experience is shifting from scripted automation toward adaptive AI agents designed to handle end-to-end interactions and deepen loyalty, with investors highlighting the importance of safety, reliability, and “enterprise DNA” in large-scale deployments.
