&Partners Appoints Mara Glassel And Julie Fox To Co-Lead Ultra-High-Net-Worth And Private Wealth Businesses

&Partners has appointed longtime UBS executives Mara Glassel and Julie Fox as equity partners and members of its executive team, with the pair set to co-lead the firm’s ultra-high-net-worth and private wealth businesses.

Glassel and Fox are expected to join &Partners in early January 2027 after completing their notice periods. Their appointments add two executives with more than five decades of combined experience at UBS to the advisor-owned wealth management firm.

Glassel brings 28 years of experience at UBS across national sales and field leadership. Most recently, she led the firm’s Greater New York Market, overseeing 18 offices. Earlier in her career at UBS, she served as Head of National Sales for Wealth Management Americas and helped develop the firm’s banking and structured notes businesses.

Fox spent 24 years at UBS and most recently led the Southeast Region’s wealth management and private wealth management businesses across 15 states. Her previous responsibilities included leading national sales for UBS and launching the UBS Global Family Office Group.

At &Partners, Glassel and Fox will focus on expanding the firm’s capabilities for sophisticated private wealth and ultra-high-net-worth clients while helping advisors build and grow their businesses within an independent model.

Their move comes amid continued advisor migration away from traditional wirehouses. Citing Diamond Consultants’ Financial Advisor Transition Report for the first half of 2026, &Partners noted that 46% of advisors leaving wirehouses selected an independent model, compared with 24% who moved to another wirehouse.

Founded in fall 2023 by former Wells Fargo executives, &Partners operates an advisor-owned hybrid wealth management model combining advisor payouts, equity participation, institutional resources, and a collaborative network.

The Nashville, Tennessee- and St. Louis, Missouri-based company has grown to 130 practices representing approximately $65 billion in assets as of September 30, 2026. Women lead approximately 40% of the firm’s advisor teams.

KEY QUOTES:

“The industry is changing because advisors are demanding more — for their clients and for the businesses they’re building. Bigger isn’t better. Better means sophisticated capabilities, support from people who know you, and a voice in decisions that shape your future. Advisors are choosing independence because they see the opportunity to have all three.

The decision of Mara and Julie to pursue something different at this point in their careers reflects the opportunity independence offers experienced leaders: becoming owners, shaping a business, and applying their experience in new ways.”

John Alexander, Co-Founder Of &Partners

“Mara and Julie know what it takes to serve sophisticated clients and support exceptional advisors. They’re choosing independence to help build something great.”

David Kowach, Co-Founder Of &Partners

“That two accomplished women are making this choice together is noteworthy. It speaks to what independence can offer: a meaningful stake in the value you create, a voice in your future, and the freedom to put your leadership into practice. I’m excited that Mara and Julie see those possibilities here — and that their choice will help others imagine what is possible for themselves.”
