Partners Capital announced it has promoted seven senior leaders across its global organization, elevating three professionals to Partner and naming four Managing Directors, as the firm continues to scale its investment and client advisory platform. The global investment firm oversees more than $70 billion in assets under management for endowments, foundations, family offices and high net worth clients, as of Sept. 30, 2025.
The newly promoted Partners are John Beil, Sam Hufton and Emmanuel Pitsilis.
Beil joined Partners Capital in 2022 and leads the firm’s Private Equity and Real Estate strategy. He previously served as Managing Director of Private Equity at the University of California Investment Office and has more than two decades of investment experience, including roles at IFC Asset Management Company, International Finance Corporation and Citigroup. He is based in San Francisco.
Hufton joined the firm in 2009 in London before relocating to the United States. He is a senior member of the Client CIO team and works with private and institutional clients across North America. He is based in Boston.
Pitsilis joined Partners Capital in 2021 to co-lead the firm’s Asia Pacific business and was named Global Head of Partners Capital Alternative Asset Management in 2025, overseeing the firm’s alternative investment solutions for financial institutions and their clients. He has nearly 35 years of experience building and scaling financial services and technology businesses, including work as an entrepreneur and as a senior partner at McKinsey & Co. He is based in Singapore.
The firm also promoted four professionals to Managing Director, highlighting leadership across its U.S. and U.K. teams.
Jeff McDonnell, based in Boston, joined Partners Capital in 2015 and is a member of the Private Markets Investment Research Team, focusing on real estate, infrastructure and private equity. He previously worked as an analyst at Davy.
Olivia Newell, based in Dallas, joined in 2019 and launched and leads the firm’s Texas office. She serves as a Client CIO, advising educational endowments, foundations and private clients. Before Partners Capital, she worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, focused on fixed income, municipal bond and credit strategies.
Alyssa “Lissie” Rau, based in Boston, joined in 2020 and leads Fund Services, overseeing the firm’s fund program operations. A CPA, she previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving financial services clients with an emphasis on operational risk and controls.
Jonny Richards, based in London, joined in 2011 and is a Client CIO serving U.K. institutional and private clients. He previously worked at Oak Capital.
Partners Capital Chief Executive Arjun Raghavan said the promotions recognize both performance and culture, and are intended to strengthen leadership as the firm expands globally.
