Partners Group launched a global multi-sector private credit income strategy designed for institutional and private wealth investors.
The strategy will be offered through an open-ended evergreen vehicle.
Partners Group is targeting high single-digit to low double-digit returns, with returns expected to be generated primarily through income.
The portfolio will combine several private and liquid credit strategies within a single vehicle.
These include senior direct lending, credit secondaries, fund financing, royalties, opportunistic credit, and liquid credit.
The strategy will primarily invest across developed markets in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
Partners Group said the diversified structure is intended to allow capital to shift among credit opportunities depending on market conditions.
For example, weaker M&A activity may reduce direct lending opportunities while increasing demand for credit secondaries or NAV financing as limited partners and general partners seek liquidity.
The strategy was developed in response to growing investor demand, particularly in Asia, for higher-yielding investments with stable income characteristics.
Partners Group’s private credit business manages approximately $40 billion across direct lending, private credit secondaries, fund finance, broadly syndicated loans, CLOs, and other strategies.
Partners Group manages more than $186 billion in assets globally.
