Paslay Group has acquired Barich, expanding its executive advisory capabilities in airport technology strategy, IT planning, and capital program delivery. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition combines Paslay Group’s Executive Program Management expertise for complex airport development programs with Barich’s specialization in technology strategy, IT planning, business analysis, and program management. The combined organization aims to help airport owners better integrate technology planning, capital investments, and operational readiness earlier in the development process, allowing technology decisions to play a more strategic role throughout major airport infrastructure projects.
Founded in 1999, Barich serves more than 20 airport clients across the United States and Canada and employs 24 professionals, including former airport IT and operations executives, technology strategists, and program specialists. The firm has established long-term relationships with major airports including Austin-Bergstrom, Dallas Fort Worth, John F. Kennedy, Ontario, Phoenix Sky Harbor, and Reno-Tahoe.
The acquisition also strengthens Paslay Group as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. Since its founding in 2006, the company has served 50 U.S. airports and managed more than $60 billion in airport capital programs. Today, Paslay Group employs approximately 150 professionals specializing in Executive Program Management, business advisory, concession consulting, and financial services. Its proprietary Executive Program Management model, introduced in 2007, received a registered trademark from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2025.
By combining their complementary expertise, the companies expect to provide airport executives with more integrated guidance spanning long-term planning, technology strategy, infrastructure development, and project execution as airport modernization programs continue to grow in scale and complexity.
KEY QUOTES:
“For years, we’ve known technology should be part of the executive conversation, not simply another work stream delivered during implementation. Paslay Group’s Executive Program Management approach immediately resonated because it reflected the same philosophy we had been working toward. Together, we can help airport owners integrate technology strategy at the point where it can have the greatest influence on program outcomes.”
Frank Barich, Founder and Director of Barich
“Our approach has always been to support airport leaders with experienced advisers who help them make informed decisions throughout the life of a capital program. As airport programs become increasingly complex, bringing Barich into Paslay Group expands our executive advisory model with deeper technology leadership, enabling airport owners to make more connected decisions from strategy through delivery.”
Clay Paslay, President and CEO of Paslay Group
