“Working with customers on specific challenges has shown me the real-world impact these systems have on business operations. If they don’t work correctly, critical disruptions can occur. Understanding the importance of these systems, we provide key capabilities around who can do what, support emergency or unexpected access scenarios, and restore functionality and operations quickly.”

“The market is evolving rapidly. Identity management used to mean decentralized administration of users and systems, but those systems have complex security models that now require centralized management. The market has diverged into multiple domains — managing consumers, partners, vendors, different endpoints and devices (IoT, mobile), and even non-human identities such as AI agents. This explosion of dimensions makes simple, unified management critical. Identity and security have become synonymous: identity is now the underlying mechanism used to secure access to applications, unlike the traditional network perimeter, which has become less important.”
