Paul Hastings has announced that finance attorneys Corey Wright and Lisa Collier have joined its New York office as partners, supporting the firm’s Global Finance platform.
Wright and Collier previously worked at Latham & Watkins. Together, they enhance Paul Hastings’ top-tier Banking & Finance practice, representing banks and financial institutions in complex leveraged finance transactions, including high-yield and bank financings, debt and equity offerings, and acquisition financings. Prior to Latham, they practiced at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP.
They have advised major financial institutions like Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and Morgan Stanley. Recently, they acted as co-counsel for a tender offer concerning Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. and served as counsel for a $17.5 billion leveraged bridge loan.
Their notable recent transactions include:
— A $4 billion high-yield loan for Rocket Companies, Inc.
— Lenders’ representation in Databricks’ $5.25 billion credit facilities.
— Financing for OpenAI’s $4 billion credit facility.

— The $15.5 billion sale of Truist Financial Corporation’s stake in Truist Insurance Holdings.
