Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced that Adam L. Hoeflich has joined the firm as a partner in its Litigation Department, based in New York. Hoeflich arrives from a prominent litigation boutique, bringing more than three decades of experience handling complex, high-stakes disputes across the United States.
Hoeflich has led a wide range of matters from pretrial through appeal in both federal and state courts nationwide. His experience spans financial services and securities litigation, multidistrict and class action proceedings, pharmaceutical and consumer products litigation, and large-scale contract disputes and arbitrations. He has also played a key role in designing and advising on major U.S. and international mass tort and product liability resolutions, earning a reputation for delivering consistent results across industries.
He is ranked Band 1 for Litigation: General Commercial in Illinois by Chambers USA and has been recognized for more than 20 consecutive years as a leading litigator in Illinois. Benchmark Litigation has named him a “National Litigation Star” annually since 2009.
Hoeflich earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating first in his class and serving as articles editor of the Law Review. He is an elected member of the American Law Institute and will continue as Professor of Practice at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he teaches complex litigation and legal ethics. He also remains active in civic leadership, serving as a trustee of Northwestern University and a board member of Northwestern Medicine.
