Pavion has acquired Communication Company, a Midwest technology solutions provider focused on life safety, security, audiovisual, and communications systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands Pavion’s regional delivery capacity and supports its strategy of partnering with established local businesses that bring strong customer relationships, technical expertise, and local market presence.
Founded in 1976, Communication Company has operated for nearly five decades and serves healthcare, education, commercial, and other customers through the design, installation, and servicing of technology systems.
Communication Company’s employees will continue serving customers locally following the acquisition. Its customers will gain access to Pavion’s broader capabilities across fire and life safety, security, critical communications, audiovisual systems, engineering, lifecycle services, and integrated technology.
The transaction also adds healthcare-sector capabilities to Pavion. Communication Company has experience serving hospitals and health systems, complementing Pavion’s existing nurse-call, critical communications, and real-time location systems operations.
Pavion generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue and operates more than 70 U.S. locations. The company serves 58 Fortune 100 businesses and seven of the world’s 10 largest hyperscalers.
Pavion is backed by Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm managing approximately $6 billion in assets.
