PebblePad has acquired myday, a student engagement portal used by universities and colleges, in a move the company says will create an integrated, mobile-first experience that links learning, assessment, and campus engagement in a single digital environment.
The acquisition brings together PebblePad’s ePortfolio, workbook, and assessment platform with myday’s student portal, which is designed to give learners a personalized “digital front door” to key services such as timetables, learning resources, communications, and campus support. Financial terms were not disclosed.
PebblePad, which says its platform is trusted by more than 130 higher education institutions globally, framed the deal as a way to deepen its presence in further education—where student engagement is closely tied to retention and outcomes—while extending its broader education technology footprint.
Combined, the two platforms will serve more than 200 institutions across the UK, the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, according to the company. PebblePad said the expanded reach reflects its focus on supporting student success at scale across both higher and further education.
As part of the transaction, PebblePad is bringing myday’s UK-based team of 14 specialists into the organization, aiming to maintain customer continuity while accelerating product integration. The two products will remain standalone offerings initially, PebblePad said, while integration work moves forward.
PebblePad’s stated goal is a unified, mobile-first experience that connects academic progress with the wider campus journey, allowing institutions to support students both academically and personally through a single, connected interface.
