Pemberton Asset Management has appointed Dominic Courtman as Managing Director and Head of its Collateralised Loan Obligation Group as the European private credit manager continues expanding its €1.6 billion CLO platform. Courtman will begin the role in January 2027.
He brings more than 30 years of experience across leveraged credit, portfolio management and corporate finance.
Courtman most recently served as Managing Director, Deputy CIO and Senior Portfolio Manager at Investcorp, where he was responsible for portfolio management across the firm’s European CLOs and closed-ended credit funds.
Pemberton’s CLO platform has grown to €1.6 billion in assets under management since its launch. In 2025, the firm issued Indigo III and Indigo IV and repriced Indigo I.
Courtman succeeds Rob Reynolds, who is stepping back after nearly five years as Head of CLOs to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests, including writing.
Jay Daryanani, Managing Director and Deputy Head of CLOs, will lead the CLO team until Courtman joins in January.
Pemberton’s CLO strategy focuses on actively managed, broadly syndicated European leveraged loan portfolios, combining fundamental credit analysis, portfolio construction and ongoing risk monitoring.
The Indigo platform is part of Pemberton’s broader multi-strategy private credit offering.
