Hau succeeds Bob Fishman, who is currently serving as Pentair’s interim Executive Vice President and CFO. Fishman will remain with the company through November 1 to support the transition of financial leadership.
The appointment brings an executive with extensive experience across the financial technology and industrial sectors to Pentair’s leadership team as the company continues executing its financial and operational strategy.
Hau most recently served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Fiserv from 2016 to 2025. During his tenure, he held senior financial responsibility at the global financial technology company, gaining experience in corporate financial management and strategy.
Before joining Fiserv, Hau served as Executive Vice President and CFO of TE Connectivity from 2012 to 2016. TE Connectivity develops connectivity and sensor technologies serving a variety of industrial and technology markets.
Hau previously held the same executive positions at Lennox International from 2009 to 2012, where he gained additional experience in the climate control industry.
Earlier in his career, he spent 22 years at Honeywell International, progressing through senior financial leadership positions with increasing responsibility.
His experience across these businesses provides a combination of financial management expertise and familiarity with large, international organizations operating in industrial and technology-intensive markets.
At Pentair, Hau will lead the company’s financial organization and contribute to its efforts to improve performance, maintain financial discipline, and create long-term shareholder value.
Pentair President and CEO John L. Stauch identified Hau’s strategic perspective and financial expertise as important qualifications for the position. He also acknowledged Fishman’s contribution as interim CFO and his role in supporting the leadership transition.
The appointment comes as Pentair continues operating across residential, commercial, and industrial water markets.
The company develops products and solutions that help customers move, treat, manage, and improve water. Its business spans a range of applications, from residential and commercial water systems to industrial water management.
Pentair reported approximately $4.2 billion in revenue in 2025 and employs approximately 9,000 people worldwide. Its operations serve customers in more than 150 countries, providing an international foundation for its water technology business.
The company’s financial strategy must support investment and operational decisions across those markets while addressing the requirements of its global manufacturing, distribution, and customer operations.
Hau’s background includes senior financial leadership at companies with substantial international operations, providing experience relevant to Pentair’s geographic reach and business portfolio.
He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marquette University.
The transition will become effective on November 1, when Hau formally assumes responsibility as Executive Vice President and CFO.
