Pepper Advantage has completed its acquisition of Computershare’s UK mortgage servicing business, Computershare Loan Services, strengthening its position as a scaled credit management and servicing platform in the UK. Backed by J.C. Flowers & Co., Pepper Advantage framed the deal as a strategic expansion that increases both its managed asset base and the breadth of servicing capabilities it can deliver to institutional clients.
The transaction lifts Pepper Advantage’s UK assets under management to roughly £50 billion and brings its global AUM to €75 billion, reflecting the company’s push to build a larger, more integrated servicing footprint across geographies and credit asset classes. The integration adds material operational capacity through existing UK hubs in London and Uxbridge, while also extending Pepper’s coverage across residential mortgage servicing and associated credit management activities.
A central element of the integration is the expansion of PRISM, Pepper Advantage’s proprietary credit management platform, across the acquired portfolio. Pepper said extending PRISM to the full Computershare Loan Services asset base is expected to improve operating leverage, increase data integration, and scale analytics and workflow automation across the credit lifecycle. The company also highlighted the addition of the Zephyr and Topaz Finance lending operations as a meaningful enhancement to its UK footprint and servicing toolkit.
Leadership positioned the closing as a milestone in Pepper Advantage’s UK growth strategy. Group CEO Fraser Gemmell said the acquisition is intended to strengthen PRISM and increase value delivered to a growing client base, while emphasizing the integration of Computershare’s team into Pepper Advantage’s platform.
