Peregrine: $5 Million Raised For Transforming Healthcare for Underserved Communities

By Amit Chowdhry ● Feb 21, 2025

Peregrine Health, a comprehensive national behavioral health solution, announced it has secured $5 million to accelerate its mission to improve access to behavioral health care in underserved communities. The funding will advance the company’s continued growth as a partner for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs).

Peregrine Health helps these organizations build sustainable, tech-enabled behavioral health programs that deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and providers.

This funding round was led by BIP Ventures, Martin Ventures, and Chapman Capital. And it marks a significant milestone for Peregrine, whose unique approach integrates expert clinicians, operational support, and advanced technology into healthcare partner organizations. Unlike traditional behavioral health solutions, Peregrine provides a fully managed service line, empowering clinics to overcome persistent challenges such as provider shortages, operational inefficiencies, and scalability limitations.

Peregrine Health will utilize the funding to invest in innovative technology and program development, enabling deeper integration with clinic operations. The new offerings include enhanced clinical outcome tracking and data-driven insights, and new clinical programming such as Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Collaborative Care Models (CoCM). The company’s ability to scale within existing partnerships and enter new markets positions it to become the leading managed service organization for behavioral health in the FQHC and RHC sectors.

Peregrine Health’s strategic approach ensures that partners remain compliant with emerging healthcare regulations and achieve operational excellence and financial sustainability. And as the company looks ahead, it will use these efforts to deepen its impact by growing its customer base and driving higher utilization across its platforms.
