Periscope Equity has promoted Eric Hinkle to Partner, recognizing his leadership across investments in founder-led and family-owned business services companies.
Hinkle joined the Chicago-based private equity firm in 2017 as a Vice President and has played a significant role in Periscope’s investment activity and portfolio value-creation work.
His platform investment experience includes RepTrak, Praecipio, CyberMaxx and Mobile Solutions.
Across those businesses, Hinkle has worked with management teams on growth strategies and led numerous add-on acquisition programs.
As Partner, he will continue overseeing investment strategy, transaction execution and value-creation initiatives across portfolio companies.
Hinkle has also helped drive Periscope’s use of technology, data and AI internally and across portfolio companies, identifying opportunities to incorporate newer technologies into both investment and operating strategies.
Periscope was founded in 2012 and targets business services companies with mission-critical offerings, sustainable profitability and identifiable opportunities to accelerate growth.
