Perry Weather Secures $110 Million Growth Investment To Expand AI Weather Safety Platform

Perry Weather has secured a $110 million growth investment led by Silversmith Capital Partners, with participation from existing investor Arthur Ventures, to accelerate development of its AI-powered weather safety and operations platform.

The investment will also support a significant expansion at Perry Weather’s Dallas headquarters, where the company plans to add more than 50 positions through 2027 across software and hardware engineering, product, support and services.

Perry Weather serves more than 3,000 organizations, including school districts, municipalities, construction companies, manufacturers and major professional sports leagues, helping them manage risks from severe weather and extreme heat.

The company’s system combines on-site weather stations with cloud-connected software, automated notifications and siren activation. Organizations can establish weather policies and have the platform automatically trigger warnings, activity modifications, shutdowns and all-clear notifications based on local conditions.

Each alert, response and resumption can also be logged automatically, creating a documented compliance record as regulations governing workplace heat and other weather-related risks increase.

More than 20 state high school athletic associations now require wet-bulb globe temperature monitoring and activity adjustments, while seven states enforce workplace heat standards and additional states are developing rules.

Perry Weather works with 24 of the top 25 general contractors on ENR’s Top 400 list and is expanding across manufacturing and energy markets.

Part of the $110 million investment will support the company’s AI roadmap. Thousands of Perry Weather’s on-site stations produce a proprietary dataset capturing conditions at customer locations.

The company plans to apply AI to that dataset to enhance regional and national models, improve hyperlocal weather forecasts, surface potential disruptions earlier and strengthen connectivity between its software and field hardware.

Perry Weather has nearly doubled its revenue every year for the past six years and plans to use the investment to accelerate hiring across the company.

Silversmith manages more than $5 billion in capital, while Arthur Ventures manages approximately $2 billion and previously led Perry Weather’s Series A and Series B rounds.
