Personos is a relationship AI platform that combines artificial intelligence with established personality science (such as the Five Factor Model) to provide real-time, actionable insights that help professionals, leaders, and coaches improve communication and resolve conflict. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Personos co-founder and COO Nick Blasi to learn more.
Nick Blasi’s Background

Could you tell me more about your background? Blasi said:
“I spent years in the 401(k) industry working in financial wholesaling, supporting advisors, and leading teams while also gaining experience in product, software, and marketing. I hold several securities licenses and studied Economics and Political Science at CU Boulder. In hindsight, everything I did early in my career revolved around understanding people and processes, which turned out to be the perfect foundation for building Personos. I am also a Colorado native with a baby on the way, and I enjoy spending time traveling with my wife.”
Favorite Memory
How did the idea for the company come together? Blasi shared:
“We kept seeing nonprofits, community programs, and corporate teams run into the same barrier. People were working hard, but communication gaps and relationship friction slowed everything down. It was the “people problems” creating most of the havoc. The tools available managed tasks, but none helped people understand one another. We built Personos to change that. It is a relationship intelligence platform rooted in the Five-Factor Model that provides anyone with daily, personalized guidance to strengthen relationships, communicate more clearly, and support others more effectively.”
Role At The Company
What are your primary responsibilities? Blasi shared:
“I lead our strategic partnerships, with a special focus on nonprofits, reentry programs, and mission-driven organizations. My job is to make sure Personos actually solves everyday communication and relationship challenges for staff, clients, and community partners. I spend a lot of time listening, co-designing, and helping teams adopt ethical AI in ways that feel practical and human.”
Favorite Memory
What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Blasi reflected:
“The best moments are when nonprofit staff, social workers, or peer navigators try Personos for the first time and instantly understand its impact. Seeing the “aha” moment when they get how the platform helps them connect better with a client, a coworker, or even themselves is what makes this work meaningful.”
Core Products
What are the company’s core products and features? Blasi explained:
“Personos includes a Five-Factor Model assessment, dynamic personality and relationship reports, context-aware AI advice, group insights, relationship mapping, and the Action Board. Together, these tools help nonprofits strengthen communication, build staff capacity, and support clients with more clarity and consistency.’
Challenges Faced
Have you faced any challenges recently? Blasi acknowledged:
“Yes. One of the biggest challenges has been helping nonprofits understand that not all AI tools are the same. Many fear generic, data-hungry AI platforms that do not reflect their ethical standards or privacy requirements. We have had to clearly demonstrate how Personos is purpose-built for nonprofits, designed with strong safeguards, and structured entirely around supporting human relationships rather than replacing them.”
Evolution Of The Company’s Technology
How has the technology evolved since launch? Blasi noted:
“We started with an AI coaching chat, but it quickly became clear that nonprofits needed something more holistic. Now Personos is a complete relationship intelligence system with dynamic reports, group insights, organizational context layers, and tools that support communication across entire teams and client populations. It has grown into a platform that strengthens daily interactions at every level.”
Significant Milestones
What significant milestones has the company reached? Blasi cited:
“Key milestones include expanding into nonprofit and reentry programs, launching our dynamic personality and relationship reports, building organizational customization features, and seeing Personos integrated into real community support systems. Watching the platform help social workers, youth programs, and workforce teams strengthen relationships has been incredibly meaningful.”
Customer Success Stories
Can you share customer success stories? Blasi highlighted:
“One of my favorite stories comes from a social worker supporting a woman transitioning back into the community after incarceration. The social worker used Personos every day, not just for personality insights but also for step-by-step guidance tailored to the client’s stress patterns, motivations, and communication style. The social worker told us that the platform helped her client stay grounded between appointments, make sense of emotional ups and downs, and build healthier habits. Over a few months, that consistent support helped the woman reconnect with her family, secure a job aligned with her passions (she has always loved working with animals), and find housing faster than the social worker had ever seen. She said the difference was the daily momentum that she was able to maintain. It turned a complicated transition into something structured, supported, and most importantly, hopeful.”
Total Addressable Market (TAM)
What total addressable market is the company pursuing? Blasi assessed:
“We operate across leadership development, coaching, nonprofit and reentry technology, workforce support, and applied ethical AI. These sectors collectively create a large, rapidly growing market with significant opportunities for both social impact and sustainable innovation.”
Differentiation From The Competition
What differentiates the company from its competitors? Blasi affirmed:
“Personos is relationship first. It blends proven personality psychology with practical, context-aware AI guidance tailored for nonprofit environments. Our privacy model keeps individual data fully protected, and our organizational context layers allow nonprofits to tailor Personos to their programs, values, and community. The result is ethical AI that people actually trust because it sounds like them and puts their values at the forefront.”
Future Company Goals
What are some future goals? Blasi emphasized:
“We are focused on expanding our footprint across nonprofits, workforce programs, and reentry support. We are also building long-term analytics to help organizations understand human development over time. Above all, we want to keep advancing ethical AI that strengthens relationships and makes frontline work easier, not harder.”
Additional Thoughts
Any other topics you would like to discuss? Blasi concluded:
“I am always happy to talk about the moment we are in right now, where AI is finally reaching the nonprofit world in a way that is thoughtful, intentional, and designed for mission-driven work. For the first time, technology is being built to reflect the realities of community organizations rather than asking them to adapt to tools that were not made for them in mind. That shift matters. It means the future of tech can finally include the voices, experiences, and cultural knowledge of the people who serve our communities every day.”
“I’m passionate about conversations around AI ethics in nonprofits, the science behind relationship-centered support, and how tools, like Personos, help staff, volunteers, and clients stay more connected, aligned, and empowered. When AI is built with equity, privacy, and human connection at the center, it becomes a way to amplify mission impact rather than distract from it. Those topics get to the heart of why we built Personos, which is to make human work more human and ensure all voices are reflected in the systems shaping our future.”
