Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) announced its portfolio company, PestCo Holdings, has acquired the assets of Long Pest Control Inc., expanding PestCo’s footprint in the greater Seattle region as it continues a broader buildout in the Pacific Northwest.
Long Pest Control, founded in 1979 in Tacoma, Washington, provides pest management services to residential and commercial customers. TSCP said the deal adds scale and strengthens PestCo’s capabilities in a rapidly expanding market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
PestCo is positioned as a growth-oriented national provider of pest control services serving both residential and commercial end markets. TSCP characterized the transaction as part of PestCo’s ongoing expansion strategy through complementary acquisitions.
Long Pest Control’s owners said the decision followed discussions with multiple potential buyers as they prepared for retirement, and they selected PestCo as the best fit to maintain Long Pest Control’s standing in the communities it serves while supporting employees and customers through the transition.
TSCP, a St. Louis-based middle-market private equity firm, said it partners with management teams to accelerate growth organically and through acquisitions across sectors, including life sciences and healthcare, software and technology, and business and consumer services and products.
