Petrichor announced the appointment of Paul J. Sekhri as Operating Partner, bringing more than 35 years of leadership experience across the global life sciences industry.
Sekhri has held senior executive roles across multinational pharmaceutical companies, venture-backed biotech firms, and leading investment organizations. He currently serves as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of vTv Therapeutics, Inc. and previously served as President and CEO of eGenesis, Inc., where he advanced the company’s work in xenotransplantation.
His career also includes leadership roles at Lycera Corporation and Cerimon Pharmaceuticals, as well as senior positions at Sanofi, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., TPG Biotech, ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, and Novartis AG.
At Petrichor, Sekhri will support portfolio companies across key stages of development, leveraging his experience as both an operator and board leader. He has served on more than 40 public and private company boards and currently holds board roles at Veeva Systems Inc., Kayothera Inc., and Deep Genomics, Inc., in addition to serving as Chairman of Resolution Therapeutics Ltd. and Executive Chairman of Violet Therapeutics, Inc..
