Phillips Lytle has named partner Victoria Grady, leader of its Chicago office, as the law firm looks to accelerate its Midwest expansion around banking, financial services, and litigation.
Grady will place the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice at the center of its Chicago growth strategy while also helping lead litigation operations across the Midwest.
She will additionally oversee regional efforts to recruit lawyers as Phillips Lytle expands its capabilities in Chicago.
The firm represents more than 55 banking and finance clients, including national and regional lenders, international banks, community banks, credit unions and other financial institutions.
Phillips Lytle plans to add lateral talent in growth areas including telecommunications, energy, data centers and real estate.
Those practices will complement the Chicago office’s established banking, financial services and litigation operations.
Grady has approximately three decades of legal experience and advises financial institutions on commercial lending, affordable housing, development finance, secured transactions and complex financing structures.
She has spent 30 years with Phillips Lytle and is a member of the firm’s Governing Committee.
