Pinnacle Financial Partners announced its expansion into Auburn, Alabama, with the appointment of Martee Moseley as financial advisor and market executive to lead the firm’s entry into the market.
The move represents Pinnacle’s first expansion into Auburn and continues the company’s strategy of entering high-growth Southeastern markets by recruiting experienced local banking leaders.
Moseley will initially build Pinnacle’s Auburn presence alongside financial advisor assistant Terri Porter, while Walker Wise, a Synovus commercial banker based in Montgomery, is also expected to join the local office.
Pinnacle said it is currently securing a temporary office location and expects to begin offering a full suite of financial products and services in the market as soon as possible. A permanent Auburn location could open within 18 to 24 months.
Moseley brings more than 26 years of financial services experience and most recently served as market president at MAX Credit Union in Auburn, where she oversaw business development and commercial banking relationships. Prior to that, she spent a decade at Regions Bank as a vice president and community banker serving East Alabama clients.
Pinnacle noted that Moseley has longstanding ties to the Auburn community, including leadership roles with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Auburn Rotary Club, Industrial Development Board, and multiple education and nonprofit organizations.
The company said the Auburn expansion builds on the firm’s broader Alabama growth strategy following its recent merger with Synovus Financial.
