- Pizza Hut chief brand officer Marianne (Donohue) Radley is stepping down from the company
In February 2018, Pizza Hut chief brand officer Marianne (Donohue) Radley joined the pizza company. But less than two years later, she is resigning from the company.
She was hired as the chief brand officer at Pizza Hut after the pizza giant promoted Zipporah Allen to the chief marketing officer role in January 2018. Then Allen moved over to work as the VP of brand marketing at Pizza Hut sister company Taco Bell in April 2019.
Before Pizza Hut, Radley previously worked at Monster Energy as the senior vice president of global marketing. Radley also previously worked as a VP of sales at Duke Manufacturing and worked for Anheuser-Busch for nearly 10 years before that.
“Marianne Radley is no longer with Pizza Hut US. We appreciate her contribution to the brand and wish her well,” said a Yum Brands spokesperson via The Drum.
One of Radley’s biggest accomplishments was the signing of a multiyear deal with the NFL after the football league ended its ties with Papa John’s following John Schnatter’s comments about the players who were protesting. Pizza Hut CEO Arthur Starrs pointed out that the NFL sponsorship helped increase brand awareness and reach an untapped audience.
