PLACE agreed to acquire Ardley, an AI-powered mortgage recapture and retention technology company.
Ardley’s software helps mortgage companies and banks analyze existing loan portfolios and send pre-structured loan offers to customers.
The acquisition is part of PLACE’s strategy to build a connected operating system spanning the mortgage lifecycle.
PLACE plans to combine Ardley’s portfolio intelligence and retention technology with capabilities covering borrower acquisition, origination, fulfillment, servicing, transaction services, and other mortgage functions.
Ardley joins recent PLACE acquisitions including Maxwell, Remine, Envoy Mortgage, and multiple businesses acquired from Radian Group.
PLACE acquired Maxwell in September 2026.
Maxwell serves more than 400 financial institutions and facilitates more than $130 billion in annual mortgage transactions.
PLACE said Ardley and Maxwell each separately touched nearly one in 10 U.S. mortgage originations in 2025.
Ardley and Maxwell had already announced an integration earlier in 2026 connecting Ardley’s portfolio intelligence capabilities with Maxwell’s point-of-sale technology.
PLACE believes the combined platform will help lenders identify opportunities within existing portfolios and connect those opportunities directly to the technology and services required for the customer’s next mortgage transaction.
Ardley will continue serving its existing customers and partners following the acquisition.
