Plaud, a company developing AI-powered hardware and software interfaces for professionals, announced that it has grown from $1 million to $100 million in annual recurring revenue within two years.
The company said the milestone places it among the fastest-growing AI companies globally and distinguishes it as a hardware-enabled AI platform in a market largely dominated by software-only businesses.
Founded in 2023, Plaud now serves more than 2 million users across over 170 countries. Its portfolio includes devices such as Plaud Note, Plaud Note Pro, and Plaud NotePin S, which act as entry points for capturing and structuring conversations.
The company said its platform is designed to preserve contextual information from real-world conversations, providing professionals with a source of intelligence beyond traditional screen-based interfaces.
Plaud is also expanding beyond individual note-taking applications. The company recently introduced Plaud Team, which brings conversation intelligence into collaborative workflows, and is adding MCP and workflow integrations to connect with broader AI agent ecosystems. These capabilities are intended to transform meetings, calls, and in-person conversations into actionable follow-ups and shared knowledge across existing productivity tools.
Plaud said it has achieved certifications and compliance standards including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, and EN 18031.
KEY QUOTES:
“Most AI companies have scaled through software behind a screen. We took a different path.”
“The conversations that actually move things forward don’t happen on a keyboard. We built the interface for the post-screen world. And the market validated it.”
