PLD Space has raised an additional €108 million for its Series C financing, increasing the round to €288 million and bringing the space transportation company’s aggregate funding to €488 million.
The extension was led by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, which also participated in the original Series C launched in March 2026.
COFIDES co-invested again, while new investors included Endeavor Catalyst and the Spain Oman Private Equity Fund, an investment vehicle managed by MCH Private Equity.
PLD Space plans to use the additional financing to support the industrialization of MIURA 5, increase production and testing capacity, develop launch infrastructure and advance the transition toward commercial launch operations.
The Spain-based company is developing launch technology intended to provide European customers with independent and resilient access to space.
Mitsubishi Electric’s continued participation provides PLD Space with an industrial and strategic investor, while COFIDES adds continued institutional support to the company’s financing base.
Banco Santander served as financial adviser to PLD Space, while Deloitte provided legal counsel.
