Pluvo: $5 Million Raised For AI Decision Intelligence Platform For Finance Teams

Pluvo, an AI-native financial analysis platform built for CFOs and FP&A teams, has raised $5 million in seed financing to accelerate development of its agentic analysis engine and expand go-to-market operations.

The seed round includes participation from Andreessen Horowitz’s a16z speedrun, Deel, The Perseverance Fund, StandUp Ventures, and AltaIR Capital. A group of strategic angel investors, including existing Pluvo clients, also participated. The financing follows Pluvo’s acceptance into a16z speedrun, Andreessen Horowitz’s flagship early-stage program.

Based in Ottawa and San Francisco, Pluvo is focused on addressing what it describes as a structural gap in financial analysis. While finance teams have invested heavily in systems of record such as ERPs, CRMs, and HRISs, the company argues that a gap remains between accessing data and understanding its real-time impact on the business.

Pluvo’s platform leverages agentic AI orchestration to deploy specialized agents that analyze financial models, evaluate forecast assumptions, and assess scenario performance in real time. The system is designed to deliver structured, model-grounded insight within minutes, helping finance leaders move from data to decisions more efficiently.

Unlike traditional planning tools that operate at the data and reporting layers, Pluvo is designed to function at what it calls the decision layer. By combining deep financial modelling with automated analysis, the platform enables continuous variance analysis, multi-scenario planning, AI-driven forecasting, and context-aware performance explanations. The company says finance leaders receive explainable, computation-backed analysis that can be interrogated and simulated in real time, while the system builds institutional memory by capturing the reasoning behind past decisions.

Pluvo is an alumnus of Alchemist Accelerator and was selected for a16z speedrun from more than 19,000 applicants. The company currently supports growth-stage and mid-market companies, and several of its CFO customers participated as investors in the round.

The company plans to use the new capital to expand its agentic analysis engine, scale its product and engineering team, deepen integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and billing systems, and grow its go-to-market efforts targeting finance leaders. Pluvo emphasizes model-grounded reasoning, auditability, and enterprise-grade data integrity, positioning the platform as a tool to augment finance teams rather than replace them.

KEY QUOTES

“CFOs don’t need another dashboard. They need a system that actually helps them move from data to decisions faster. That’s what we’re building.”
Alex Labrèche, CEO And Co-Founder Of Pluvo

“Every CFO we talk to has the data. What they don’t have is the time to make sense of it before the moment passes. Pluvo closes that gap. If your finance tools can’t help you explore multiple options and make informed decisions in the moment, they’re just outdated calculators and spreadsheets cosplaying finance tools.”
Seb Fallenbuchl, COO Of Pluvo
