PolyAI Names Sunil Shah As Chief Financial Officer

PolyAI appointed Sunil Shah as Chief Financial Officer as the company expands its Agentic Dialog Platform for enterprises and AI developers. Shah most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Rapid7.

At PolyAI, he will oversee global financial planning, accounting, treasury, revenue operations, and capital strategy.

His initial focus will include supporting investment in PolyAI’s Agentic Dialog Platform and expanding its accessibility to customers.

Shah brings approximately 20 years of experience across technology, finance, capital markets, and investment management.

At Rapid7, he led areas including FP&A, strategic finance, investor relations, and data analytics.

During that period, Rapid7 grew from approximately $300 million to $800 million in annual recurring revenue.

Before Rapid7, Shah led strategic finance at Imperva and supported the company through its eventual acquisition for more than $2 billion.

Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade as a technology investor at firms including Surveyor Capital and Carlson Capital.

The appointment follows PolyAI’s launches of Dialog-RSN-1, a reasoning model designed for real-time complex dialogue, and Wren, an in-platform agent designed to continuously improve dialog agent performance.

PolyAI said its platform has been used across more than one billion conversations.

The company serves hundreds of enterprises across 75 languages and 25 countries.
