Polymarket has appointed veteran finance executive Warren Jenson as Chief Financial Officer as the prediction markets company expands its CFTC-regulated U.S. exchange and broader global platform.
Jenson will report to Polymarket Founder and CEO Shayne Coplan and will oversee the company’s finance organization, financial and capital strategy, long-range planning and financial infrastructure.
The appointment comes as Polymarket adds senior executives and builds out its operations to support continued growth in the U.S. and international markets.
Jenson brings extensive experience leading finance functions at major technology, media, transportation and entertainment companies.
He previously served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Nielsen, where his responsibilities extended beyond finance to include strategy, technology, corporate development and the company’s analytics business.
Before Nielsen, Jenson served as President of LiveRamp. In that role, he led finance and the company’s international operations as LiveRamp expanded its data and identity platform into additional markets globally.
Earlier in his career, Jenson served as Chief Financial Officer of Amazon, Electronic Arts, Delta Air Lines and NBC.
Across those companies, he gained experience overseeing financial strategy, capital allocation and operations during periods of significant growth, market expansion and organizational change.
Jenson also serves on the boards of DigitalOcean, Dropbox and Ripple. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University.
Polymarket operates a prediction market platform where participants trade contracts based on the outcomes of real-world events spanning politics, economics, science, technology, sports and culture.
The company is also expanding its regulated U.S. operations through Polymarket US, which operates as a CFTC-regulated designated contract market under the Commodity Exchange Act.
Jenson’s appointment gives Polymarket a CFO with experience managing finance at both large public companies and technology businesses as the company invests in the infrastructure, capital strategy and operating processes needed to support its next phase of expansion.
