Poppulo announced the acquisition of Sociabble, a Paris-based employee engagement platform, in a move designed to strengthen its AI-powered employee communications and engagement capabilities across the enterprise workforce.
The acquisition expands Poppulo’s platform with Sociabble’s social intranet, frontline mobile engagement, employee advocacy, and employee recognition capabilities. The companies said the combined offering will help communications, HR, and business leaders consolidate fragmented workplace engagement tools while improving governance, automation, and workforce alignment.
Poppulo said the acquisition comes at a time when organizations are increasingly adopting AI across disconnected systems without the oversight and accountability needed to generate meaningful outcomes. The company cited Gallup data showing that only 20% of employees are actively engaged.
The combined platform is intended to provide organizations with a unified AI-powered employee experience ecosystem that spans communications, engagement, frontline workforce support, intranet services, and analytics. Poppulo said customers will gain improved automation, more measurable communications workflows, and personalized employee experiences across the entire workforce lifecycle.
The acquisition also broadens Poppulo’s reach into frontline and mobile workforce engagement while extending Sociabble’s capabilities into digital signage and enterprise communications infrastructure. The companies said the platform will integrate with broader enterprise ecosystems, including IT infrastructure, meeting rooms, and mobile devices.
Poppulo said the combined organization will support more than 50 million employees globally and continue investing in AI-driven innovation and automation capabilities.
Sociabble’s intranet, frontline mobile application, employee advocacy, and rewards capabilities will be integrated directly into the Poppulo platform. The companies said the combined communications and engagement data ecosystem will enable more personalized and measurable employee experiences while improving targeting, content optimization, analytics, security, and governance.
Poppulo said it currently serves more than 10,000 organizations, including over 40 Fortune 100 companies, with a digital signage network spanning more than 600,000 screens globally.
