Portal26 Launches AI Value Realization Module To Boost Enterprise ROI

Portal26 announced it has introduced an AI Value Realization Solution to help enterprises close what it described as a significant gap between generative AI spending and measurable returns. The Los Gatos, California-based company positioned the new module as a decision support layer that uses enterprise user behavior signals to identify which AI agents, applications, and migration efforts are most likely to deliver high value, then guides organizations on how to build and deploy them.

The company, which describes itself as a pioneer of GenAI security solutions in 2023, said it launched a Zero Day Shadow AI Discovery Engine in 2024 and GenAI License Intelligence in 2025. With the 2026 launch of the Value Realization module, Portal26 is expanding beyond governance and security into what it calls strategic intelligence for scaling enterprise GenAI programs.

Portal26 said the module was designed in collaboration with enterprise design partners and targets a common challenge in enterprise AI programs: turning broad experimentation into a coherent strategy that delivers business impact. The company said the solution supports rapid, evidence-based decisions on GenAI investments and programs at scale, with goals to improve proof-of-concept-to-production conversion, utilization, business impact, and cost outcomes. Portal26 also noted that the module can improve agent design, rollout execution, user education, and policy enforcement.

Portal26 framed the product as relevant to a broader set of stakeholders than its existing GenAI adoption platform, including Chief AI Officers, AI product managers, finance leaders responsible for cost and ROI, and people leaders involved in workforce development initiatives, alongside CIOs, CISOs, and functional executives.

The company cited studies it said reflect the challenges its design partners have experienced, including research it described as finding that 95% of enterprise GenAI proof of concepts fail due to uninformed, top-down planning and guesswork. Portal26 said its approach relies on continuous enterprise signals to help predict high-impact use cases and maintain effectiveness as AI needs evolve.

Portal26 also said the addition of AI Value Realization completes what it views as three pillars of enterprise GenAI adoption support: Shadow AI discovery and mitigation, GenAI security and governance, and value realization through decision support for investment, cost management, agentic development, and ROI.

KEY QUOTES:

“Portal26 receives continuous granular signals from across the enterprise and analyzes them for demand, cost, productivity, and impact on an ongoing basis. This allows Portal26 to not only predict high-impact use cases at any given time but also support that with the full package of how these should be built and deployed. Additionally, Portal26 is in a unique position to track how AI needs change over time and to manage the effectiveness of all deployed AI. This level of decision support is unprecedented and extremely valuable for AI leaders.”

Arti Raman, CEO, Portal26

“Companies everywhere are struggling to balance the intense pressure to adopt GenAI with the lack of return. Our AI Value Realization module is the only solution that allows the organization to proactively build AI powered use cases with pre-determined impact and competitive advantage.”
