Posterity Health: $13 Million (Series A) Raised For Expanding Male Reproductive Care

By Amit Chowdhry ● Feb 24, 2025

Posterity Health, a male reproductive and hormonal health leader, has secured $13 million in Series A funding to expand access to comprehensive care for men nationwide. The funding round was led by Georgetown Equity Partners, with participation from existing investors FCA Venture Partners, Distributed Ventures, and WVV. New investors include SteelSky Ventures, the largest women’s health fund, Scrub Capital and other digital health leaders.

Posterity Health offers innovative solutions to address fertility challenges, optimize hormone levels, and manage long-term health risks, combining cutting-edge technology with expert clinical care. And through its telehealth services, at-home diagnostics, and in-person care, the company has become a trusted partner for men at every stage — from family building and fertility optimization to hormone management, vasectomies, low-testosterone treatments, and more.

With 50% of all infertility cases linked to the male partner, traditional care models often delay male evaluation for nearly two years and this leads to unnecessary treatments, missed diagnoses, and higher costs.

Posterity Health’s platform addresses longstanding challenges in male reproductive care, including:

1.) Delayed Diagnoses & High Costs – Many couples struggling with infertility wait nearly two years before the male partner is tested, resulting in unnecessary procedures and financial strain. Personalized insights help identify male fertility issues earlier, leading to faster, more effective interventions.

2.) Limited Access to Specialists – With only 250 fellowship-trained reproductive urologists nationwide, long wait times and geographic barriers often prevent men from receiving timely, evidence-based care. Posterity Health’s technology-driven triage system helps match patients to the right specialists, optimizing provider availability.

3.) Overprescription & Mismanagement of Testosterone Therapy – Without proper oversight, hormone treatments can negatively impact fertility, yet they are often prescribed without a full understanding of their effects. Expert care and advanced decision-support tools ensure appropriate hormone management based on clinical guidelines.

4.) Undiagnosed Health Risks – Male infertility is linked to testicular cancer, high blood pressure, obesity, and other serious conditions, making early evaluation critical for long-term health. Posterity Health leverages data-driven tools to detect potential underlying health risks early, allowing for preventive care interventions.

Dr. William Schoolcraft – a global pioneer in fertility treatment – will serve as a Strategic Advisor to Posterity Health. And Dr. Schoolcraft, who is widely regarded as a leading authority in fertility care, will lead efforts to educate clinicians and the public on the importance of early male fertility evaluation.

Dr. Schoolcraft has been instrumental in advancing fertility treatments, including breakthroughs in IVF and sperm quality optimization. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and is recognized internationally for his expertise.

With nationwide access, personalized insights, and a growing team of reproductive urologists, Posterity Health features a new era of male fertility and hormone care. Employers, payers, and health systems recognize early male fertility intervention’s cost-saving and health-improving potential, making Posterity Health the trusted partner in this evolving space.

This funding will enable Posterity Health to continue scaling its platform and expanding its reach, ensuring that every man has access to high-quality reproductive care at every stage of life.

KEY QUOTES:

“I’ve committed my career to male reproductive health because it remains one of the most underserved and poorly understood areas within healthcare. This funding gives us the opportunity to serve more men and their families, and it also demonstrates that the tide is turning and that men are starting to take a more active role in their own health. I’m proud to be part of that change.”

– Pam Pure, the CEO and Co-Founder of Posterity Health

“We are proud to partner with Posterity Health as they transform male reproductive care, improving outcomes for both men and women. Women’s health doesn’t exist in a silo — male reproductive health is an essential part of the equation. By addressing male fertility earlier, we can reduce unnecessary, invasive treatments for women and help couples navigate the fertility journey more efficiently — saving time, money, and stress while improving success rates for couples trying to conceive.”

– Maria Toler, Founding & Managing Partner at SteelSky Ventures

“Treating the male partner will avoid unnecessary female care, improve sperm quality, and even identify underlying health conditions like testicular cancer. I am excited about the opportunity to team with Posterity Health to shift the burden of care from the female, provide a more equitable fertility process, and improve IVF success rates.”

– Dr. Schoolcraft

“We see powerful benefits to females who are given the opportunity to manage their reproductive journey from pre-conception to menopause, and we believe that males deserve and are seeking out the same proactive care. We are excited to support the team at Posterity Health as they promote digital, evidence-based male programs.”
