PostFinance announced that Christoph Kurth has been elected to its Board of Directors following an Extraordinary General Meeting held on June 2, 2026. He succeeds Bernadette Koch, who stepped down from the board at the end of March 2026.

Kurth joins the seven-member Board of Directors as one of the four representatives appointed by Swiss Post. He also assumes a position on PostFinance’s Audit & Compliance Committee with immediate effect.

A Swiss national, Kurth brings more than two decades of experience in compliance and the financial services sector. Since 2018, he has served as a partner at Baker McKenzie, where he leads the Financial Industry and Investigations, Compliance & Ethics practices across Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, he held a variety of management roles at UBS.

PostFinance said Kurth’s expertise in compliance and financial services will support the continued development of the company and strengthen the board’s oversight capabilities.

Kurth replaces Bernadette Koch, whose departure from the board was announced in November 2025. The transition marks the latest change in governance at the Swiss financial institution.
