Prairie Operating Co. announced the appointment of Jennifer M. Grigsby to its Board of Directors, while Stephen Lee has stepped down from the board to focus on his growing responsibilities at Renewa.
Grigsby brings more than 30 years of experience spanning the energy industry, corporate finance, capital markets, governance, and treasury. She currently serves on the boards of First Busey Corporation, Superior Plus Corp., and CompSource Mutual Insurance Company. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ascent Resources and spent nearly two decades at Chesapeake Energy Corporation in senior roles including Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary. After Ascent, she served as Oklahoma’s Secretary of Economic Administration, overseeing more than twenty state agencies.
