PRAVAAH announced its official launch as a new sports business platform focused on connecting South Asian business leaders, brands, technology innovators, investors, community organizations, and sports properties across North America.
The platform is designed to create experiential sports events and strategic partnerships that support business development, cultural engagement, and community-building across multicultural audiences. PRAVAAH aims to serve as a bridge between the sports industry and South Asian audiences, one of North America’s fastest-growing multicultural communities.
Derived from the Sanskrit word for “flow,” PRAVAAH is built around the idea that sports can create meaningful connections across cultures, industries, fans, media, and business networks. The organization will work with sports rights holders, properties, and investors to build stronger relationships with South Asian audiences through experiential programming, strategic advisory, and partnerships.
PRAVAAH is structured as a joint venture between Ocgrow Ventures and Tulsea Sports Marketing. The combination gives the platform access to networks across professional sports, business, government, community organizations, celebrities, influencers, and ethnic media.
The company’s initial focus will be on connecting sports rightsholders with business leaders and founders from multicultural communities. PRAVAAH plans to use sports as a platform to support and amplify the South Asian business community while creating opportunities for brands and sports organizations to engage more authentically with this audience.
During its first year, PRAVAAH expects to launch initiatives in several key South Asian population hubs across North America. These markets include Calgary, Toronto, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Vancouver, and New York.
The company also expects to announce additional markets throughout the year. PRAVAAH said global expansion is planned for 2027.
The launch comes as multicultural populations represent one of the fastest-growing segments of sports fans and consumers across North America. PRAVAAH said it is positioned to help organizations move beyond one-time campaigns and toward sustained, authentic engagement with South Asian communities.
PRAVAAH’s model centers on experiential programming, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. The platform is intended to help sports organizations, brands, investors, technology leaders, and community groups unlock growth opportunities through meaningful relationships with South Asian audiences.
Ocgrow Ventures is a Canada-based global venture capital fund founded by Harish Consul. The firm focuses on investments in global founders building high-growth companies, with an AI-first focus across multiple verticals.
