Praxis has appointed Tarek El Moghrabi as Regional Head of Growth and Business Development for the GCC, as the firm looks to expand with rising demand for private wealth, corporate, and funds services in the Middle East. The appointment underscores Praxis’ long-term commitment to the region, where it has maintained an on-the-ground presence in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for roughly a decade.

Praxis said El Moghrabi brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning the Middle East, London, and Luxembourg, advising institutional investors, family offices, and private clients on international structuring, fund administration, and governance. In his new role, he will focus on deepening regional relationships, supporting fund and asset management growth, and enhancing Praxis’ cross-border private wealth offering as investor activity accelerates across the region.

El Moghrabi will work with teams across the group on broader growth initiatives and client solutions, including end-of-service benefits and employee savings frameworks, which Praxis delivers alongside James Barber-Lomax, its Group Head of Pensions & Employer Solutions. The firm also highlighted continued investment in its Middle East footprint, including the relocation of Chief Commercial Officer Dominic de Mariveles from London to Dubai in August 2025.

Praxis positioned the appointment as aligned with the Middle East’s growing role as a global financial hub, citing increasing demand for sophisticated structuring and administration solutions from both institutional and private capital. The firm has operated in Abu Dhabi Global Market since securing its first Trustee licence from the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority in 2016, later expanding into fund administration support services in 2017 and adding Company Service Provider activities in 2021.
