Precinmac LP, a manufacturer of high-complexity precision components, announced that it has acquired Precision Aerospace Holdings, LLC, a Dallas-based company specializing in precision-machined components for aerospace, defense, and space applications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition strengthens Precinmac’s capabilities and capacity in mission-critical markets, reinforcing its strategy to serve customers requiring high-performance, high-precision components. Precision Aerospace Holdings was formed in 2022 through the combination of Applegate EDM, Clearwater Engineering, Decatur Machine Services, Icon Machine Co., and Owens Machine and Tool Company, bringing together expertise in electronic discharge machining and precision machining.
Precinmac said the addition of Precision Aerospace Holdings aligns with its focus on producing medium- to high-complexity parts and supporting long-running programs across aerospace, defense, and space sectors. The company operates a network of manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada and serves industries including semiconductor, power generation, and energy.
With the acquisition, Precinmac expands its portfolio, which includes multiple specialized divisions offering capabilities such as multi-axis machining, grinding, close-tolerance fabrication, and precision milling and turning. The company emphasized that the deal enhances its ability to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions to top-tier customers.
Precinmac is a portfolio company of Centerbridge Partners, which invested in the company in December 2024 to support its next phase of growth.
