Premiere Digital acquired Amdocs’ Vubiquity business, combining two media technology platforms serving studios, streaming companies, digital platforms, and broadcasters.
Premiere Digital provides content mastering, digital distribution, cloud-based workflows, and AI-driven technology for media and entertainment companies.
Vubiquity provides technology-led media supply-chain and content-licensing solutions.
The combination expands Premiere Digital’s reach across the content value chain by adding Vubiquity’s supply chain, licensing, and monetization capabilities.
Premiere Digital plans to invest further in the combined organization, including AI-powered workflows designed to help customers manage new releases and existing content libraries more efficiently.
For Amdocs, the divestiture reduces its exposure to the media distribution market and lets the company focus more on its agentic software strategy.
Amdocs said that strategy is being led by aOS. Premiere Digital operates from locations including Los Angeles, Stamford, Connecticut, and Bangalore, India.
